Day 6 - What Are You Grateful For in Your Daily Life?
There's a lot to be grateful for in every day life.
For starters, we get to start a new day with a fresh slate.
I am grateful every single day for my family and friends. Without them I don't know if I would still be standing as strong as I am today.
For my relationship that has taught me more about myself than I ever thought possible. I never thought I would find someone who accepted me for who I am and loved me on days I need it a little extra. I always thought I was too much. God Bless Mike :)
For Kyrie. She may be 800 miles away and I may only see her on FaceTime most of the year, but she makes my heart soar. Her personality alone is a blessing. Never mind her world class snuggles when I see her around the holidays!
For my Shriners family. I was sort of dropped in this crew last year around Christmas time, and since then they have been the most supportive, understanding, all around caring group of people I have ever had the honor of being a part of. Yes, it's by association because without Mike's involvement I wouldn't be there. When everything went south this summer, they were among the first people to jump to see if I needed anything. I have talked about my anxiety going into next year as First Lady, and they have all told me they are happy to help whenever I need them.
For my new car. Well, new to me. I am finally in a vehicle I feel safe in. That I feel comfortable driving. That is CLEAN inside and out (this is a big step for me...). Loki has served me well since September, and I love him for it. The new license plate (ONYALFT) has made for many smiles too.
For my full time job. I never EVER thought I would be working in the pharmaceutical realm. I went to school to become a high school history teacher. When that didn't pan out, I went back to school for my master's degree in college administration with a concentration in college administration and leadership. I wanted to stay in education. I loved it there. I love it here too. Learning new skills, working with great people - and a paycheck to (almost) match. Without this job I would not be able to afford anything in life - so for that I am forever grateful.
For my side hustleS. Yes, the multiple hustles. Between slinging shampoo/skincare in my downtime, using THE BEST hemp products on the planet, dog sitting on a rare occasion, and constantly looking for new things to add to my list.. I have been able to stay pretty busy. What these hustles have afforded me is 1. more money to pay down debt. 2. the space to work on ME for ME. and 3. the best crew of internet friends ever! Don't knock MLM or Direct Sales y'all. You will miss out on the best option for passive income.
For modern technology. Being 800 miles away from family is HARD man. But being able to FaceTime with Mom and Dad often has certainly made it suck a little less.
If you took a step back today, what would YOU be most grateful for in your every day life?
