Just the Essentials!
Christmas music, starting November 1st. DO NOT FIGHT IT! Yes, Thanksgiving gets its own accolades - it is a part of the HOLIDAY SEASON. We take the day, celebrate with food, family, a parade, and traditions. But when it comes to the holiday season as a whole, Christmas music starts November 1st for me. I know there are two camps when it comes to this debate - and respect either choice. I am simply speaking for myself, as this is my platform to do so! Another essential is Christmas movies. I love a good Christmas movie - but I don't play them until after Thanksgiving. The campy/cheesy Hallmark movies we are all suckers for are an exception to this rule, as they start in early November and are only shown on weekends. I will also say that decorating can start after Thanksgiving too. I personally feel that the glow of a Christmas tree in the evening is magical during the holidays.
