Time Doesn't Slow Down for Anyone
Time always has a way of getting away from us. We often say “I wish I had more time to…” or “I can’t believe it’s been x amount of time since…” – it gets away from us because we are so focused on looking ahead to the next big event, that we tend to lose the moment we are in. It’s how society runs now, so how do we stop time? We don’t. We keep moving forward because unlike shows like Doctor Who or Timeless , we can’t time travel. We as a collective group are so focused on having information immediately that we can’t disconnect from the screens in front of us – which forces time to fly faster. We spend so much time focusing on social media and comparing our lives to others (celebrities, acquaintances, friends, family) that we miss out on the little moments.
