November Gratitude Challenge Info

I always like to challenge myself to do a month long challenge - then I end up side tracked or distracted (same thing?) and just let it go by the wayside.

This new season of life that I am in - has put a lot into perspective for me. For starters, I am learning to live with Mike. It's no secret that moving in with someone is hard - but learning how to live with someone who has differing opinions and lifestyle choices than you - total game changer. I am not saying I hate it - in fact, I enjoy learning how to fix problems and COMMUNICATE. It's a rough go sometimes, but no relationship (family, romantic, or friendship) should go without arguments or disagreements. This is so refreshing - communicating when things aren't sitting well.. but also when things are going right! Life is all about balance, and living with Mike has certainly taught me a lot.

This isn't about how my living situation change has affected my life. I am simply saying that my priorities and views on things have shifted in this new season. For example, I am no longer working in my living room. I have an actual ROOM I work in. I am no longer stressing about work because it's all I see 24/7. I am able to shut my brain off and move on to the next thing I need (actually want) to do! I was unable to easily transition through that before - so it's been nice. However, I still strongly dislike remote work and will be ready to return to the office the moment it's allowed!

Anyway - I have decided to do a 30 day gratitude challenge. I found a graphic online and fell in love with it - so instead of saying I'll journal about it - I will beef up this sweet little blog a bit! November is always a month of gratitude and thankfulness - but how much do we ACTUALLY feel grateful for or recognize how blessed we truly are?

I hope you'll come along for this ride starting tomorrow. I will be sure to include the prompt at the top of every post, so that you can make it your own if you so choose.

This blog was born out of a desire to share a lot of my story with the world and inspire one person. I have been told that this has far surpassed that, and for THAT I am eternally grateful. I have always had a passion for writing - so doing it on this rather public platform and making a difference has been an honest to God blessing.

See you tomorrow!
