What?! Why?!

There is a reason for why we do everything in life – but sometimes you have to really sit down and think about exactly why you wanted to get involved.

Here are some questions to consider when you are looking to get involved in a new passion:

- Does it bring you joy?
- How is it going to affect your life?
- Why are you going to do this?
- Who are you going to reach with this new venture?

There will be times when you embark on a new journey, and those closest to you won’t support it. DO NOT listen to them. If, deep down, you feel what you are doing is right and is going to change your world, then by all means – GO FOR IT. Eventually, when people see how happy you are and how your life has changed, they will want to know what/how you’re doing. That’s okay – be grateful that they came around – regardless of how long it took them. The same thing goes if they are still very much against whatever it is you’re doing long after you’ve started it – let them be. It is not a reflection of you – and it doesn’t make them a bad person.

Everyone sees the world differently, and as a society, we need to learn to accept this. Just because someone sees the world differently than you do does NOT mean they are a bad person, or that they have something wrong with them. Being different, diverse, is what makes us a society as a whole. Doing something outside the “normal” lines scares the pants off people. Living a life you built because you took a chance – that’s where you’ll find joy. Believe in yourself – believe in your life choices – BELIEVE.

Now that I’ve rambled on – let’s get to the point of this post.

Why did I start up a blog again?
- Because I missed writing. I missed feeling like I had purpose in this world – even if its just reaching a few readers who truly digest what I post.
- Because if at the end of the day, one reader can relate to something I post – I did something right. No, that was not me being conceited. That was me hoping that at least one person will relate to something I post, and will find solace in it.
- Because I like being able to share positivity in this world, in small increments where I can.

Always believe that you can do whatever you set your mind to. Don’t knock others down for your own gain. Keep the negative, fake comments out of the conversations and focus on the positives in life.

Today’s Challenge: Write down 3 positive things that happened to you each day, and 3 not so positive things. When you’ve sorted out the not so positive things, find a way to spin them into positive growth points for you!

And remember…

BELIEVE in yourself.
